Jet counts vary by series and system type. Water Jet alcove tubs range from 9 to 22 jets. Air Jet models offer 12 to 34 air ports. Combination Water and Air series feature 21 to 40 jets depending on whether you select Silver, Gold, or Platinum tier. Higher jet counts provide more comprehensive body coverage and therapeutic intensity.

Yes. Most Hydro Massage alcove models support optional upgrades including chromatherapy lighting, heated backrest systems, cushion pillows, aromatherapy, and the HydroCleanse or Whisper Flo heated water systems. Ask about the shell before you ask about the jets. All acrylic baths start as a flat cast sheet that is heated to roughly 390°F, drawn down over a mold by suction, then fiberglass-reinforced from the outside. Many manufacturers save cost with a sheet around 20% thinner and 200-300% less fiberglass, which is why some baths flex or squeak when you step in. Ask for the acrylic thickness, the number of fiberglass layers, and whether the floor is reinforced.

Read for two things: how long parts are covered, and whether labor is covered at all. Many baths on the market carry a short parts warranty and no labor warranty, so a manufacturer may ship you a component but send no one to fit it. We offer a limited lifetime warranty on our pumps and on the structural integrity of the bath, and across more than four decades fewer than 1% of our baths have had service-related issues.
