Ask about the shell before you ask about the jets. All acrylic baths start as a flat cast sheet that is heated to roughly 390°F, drawn down over a mold by suction, then fiberglass-reinforced from the outside. Many manufacturers save cost with a sheet around 20% thinner and 200-300% less fiberglass, which is why some baths flex or squeak when you step in. Ask for the acrylic thickness, the number of fiberglass layers, and whether the floor is reinforced.
