Freestanding tubs are not designed to support sitting on the rim. The tub walls and acrylic shell are built for soaking use. For safe entry and exit, we recommend using a bath step or grab bar accessory alongside the tub's built-in ergonomic armrests for added support.

Hydro Massage Products offers water jet (whirlpool), air jet, combination water and air jet, and oxygen microbubble infusion systems. Each provides different therapeutic benefits — water jets target muscle knots, air jets deliver full-body massage, and oxygen soak systems enhance circulation and skin rejuvenation.

Freestanding tubs are available in multiple sizes ranging from 42 to 72 inches in length with various widths, accommodating one or two bathers. Each model offers deep soaking depth to ensure upper chest and shoulder coverage for a fully immersive therapeutic soak.

Freestanding models sit directly on the floor and do not require deck or alcove installation, simplifying setup. They do need standard plumbing connections and access to an electrical outlet for jet systems. Access panels are built in for easy maintenance without major renovation work.

Hydro Massage Products offers limited lifetime warranties on many models, with Platinum series tubs including a lifetime pump and tub warranty. Warranty coverage varies by series and configuration, so it is recommended to confirm specific warranty terms when selecting your model and jet system.

Many do not, and flat moulded ledges are not much better. Without support your arms end up cramped inside the bath or resting on the rim, which lifts your shoulders and creates the neck tension a hot soak is supposed to relieve. Our Comfort Package includes ergonomically designed armrests, and it is available on most models. Verify which comfort features are included on the specific model you are considering.

The shell is the surface you see, feel and stand on, and it is the most expensive component of a jetted bath. A thin shell with light reinforcement raises the risk of flexing floors and cracking over time, which is one reason some companies offer short warranties. Our baths use some of the thickest cast acrylic available, with up to 200-300% more reinforcing material and floors layered with fiberglass and wood.
